Baby2Baby Volunteer Opportunity
Get ready to give back to the community and Join your FGG gals for a morning at Baby2Baby!
Baby2Baby is a national nonprofit led by Co-CEOs Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein that provides children living in poverty with diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. In the last 13 years, Baby2Baby has distributed over 450 million critical items to children in homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, foster care, hospitals and underserved schools as well as children who have lost everything in the wake of disaster. Baby2Baby is reaching more than one million children annually in all 50 states.
The session will take place at Baby2Baby's Los Angeles warehouse. Our warehouse is a large space that is not fully enclosed. The project will be dependent on the highest need at the time of your session but will consist of your group preparing basic essentials to send to families in need across the country. When Baby2Baby can provide these critical items, parents are able to put food on the table, keep their lights on, pay their rent and get back on their feet. Projects could include: sorting clothing, packaging items into specialized bundles, inventorying items such as hygiene products, toys, diapers, etc.

The volunteer session is scheduled for Friday, August 2nd | 11:00AM-1:00PM at our Los Angeles headquarters.
Address & Parking:
Our Los Angeles headquarters is located at 5830 W. Jefferson Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90016. Free parking is available on the roof. The driveway on the south side of the building leads to the back of the building where you will find a ramp up to the roof. Please park in the designated Baby2Baby spots marked in green on this map. Please do not park in the front of the building where it says “Staff Parking” or enter any of the doors in front. Check in for the session is located at the back of the building which is located on the map with a yellow star. Volunteer waivers will be virtually provided upon check in.
Attire:
We recommend activewear and closed-toe shoes. Our volunteer sessions involve a lot of moving, so we want everyone to be comfortable! Please also feel free to bring a reusable water bottle since we have a water cooler available!

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT
We are different because our club is about more than golf. We empower our women on the green but leave them walking away with some sort of value. Whether it be a new friendship, idea, confidence, or business advice, each woman leaves with something new. ForeGals was founded on the idea that men get to play golf for business, so we should too, and kick ass while doing it. We bring a cool, classy, confident, and fun vibe to the game. And something special about this club is that every member is from a diverse background or ethnicity. We are women from different cultures, education, religions, and those things help us be a better club.
